March 23rd-26th

Greetings from our classroom! Spring has arrived and First Grade has composed a poem to celebrate. They will also be crafting a nest with chicks to complement their poems.

We will be finishing up our reading lessons and starting a new one mid -week. Both classes will be re-exploring the Biography genre. If you have any biographies at home please share them with your young scholar pointing out that they tell a person's life story usually from birth to their death focusing on their main contributions to mankind.

In Math both grades will be testing next week and beginning a new Unit.
First Grade will be learning about geometry and measurement while our Second Graders will be focusing on 3-digit addition and subtraction!

Please note that I have added buttons below the header (above) that will take you to your child's Spelling Word Lists.

Happy Dr. Seuss Month!
