The Civil War is upon us as the students explore the causes and effects of the war. The notes from my lecture can be found on this Prezi.

January

This month we will be studying the U.S. Constitution as we have just defeated the British in the Revolutionary War. Check back for more information regarding this unit of study. 

November

We have made it through the American Revolution with a full understanding of WHO is telling the story (the Americans). The students did great on their final assessment and I hope to have pics of their timelines posted soon!

We are diving deep into the American Revolution and are working on Chapter 9 lessons 3-4 this week. We are focusing on how hard it was to choose sides and the consequences of either choice.
We have dissected the Declaration of Independence and your scholar should be able to tell you the three components and what each contains.
