School's Out for Summer!

Today was our last day! It was awesome. Thank you all for sharing your wonderful children with me everyday. It has been an honor to teach them. I look forward to seeing all of you next fall!

Holy Moly Guacamole! The last week of school is half-way over!

Oh my! This week is moving fast. Today all of the kiddos took home all of their belongings! We cleaned out the classroom and hall as we prepare for the last two days of school. Tomorrow is the Wave in Whitefish! And Thursday is the BBQ at noon! Be ready to play some awesome Minute-to-win-it games after lunch.

All About Me

Hi! I am Miss Cole and this will be my fourth year teaching! Last year I taught 1st-2nd grades, and 5/6th science and social studies at Dayton Elementary. This year I have Kindergarten and 5/6th science and social studies! Previously, I taught 8th grade science and ELA, and grades K-8 at a one room school house.

I earned a B.S. in Biology and worked for the USDA Forest Service as a seasonal employee for 5 years. Then I went to Alaska to work as a fisheries observer collecting data for NOAA. I have over 350 logged days on the Bering Sea.

I am fascinated by the field of education and I love teaching. I thank you for sharing your wonderful children with me everyday; and I look forward to working with you to ensure your scholars success.
