Summer is Almost 1/2 Way Over!

I have been so busy this summer and having a wonderful time! I hope everyone else has been as well. The kindergarten room is going to look so different this year! I have been painting and painting and painting, and I am still not finished! Almost there; I am so excited to put my room back together!

All About Me

Hi! I am Miss Cole and this will be my fourth year teaching! Last year I taught 1st-2nd grades, and 5/6th science and social studies at Dayton Elementary. This year I have Kindergarten and 5/6th science and social studies! Previously, I taught 8th grade science and ELA, and grades K-8 at a one room school house.

I earned a B.S. in Biology and worked for the USDA Forest Service as a seasonal employee for 5 years. Then I went to Alaska to work as a fisheries observer collecting data for NOAA. I have over 350 logged days on the Bering Sea.

I am fascinated by the field of education and I love teaching. I thank you for sharing your wonderful children with me everyday; and I look forward to working with you to ensure your scholars success.
